With the award of the contract in a Europe-wide tender in June 2019, the Luxembourg partner companies Bollig Voyages and Voyages Emile Weber were able to win the tender “Linienbündel Südeifel” and thus expand the service area. Tempus Mobil GmbH will operate 15 bus routes in the area of Trier, Bitburg, Neuerburg, Irrel and Luxembourg on behalf of the Bitburg-Prüm district and the Luxembourg and Rhineland-Palatinate ministries of transport.
Last week, the last nine of a total of twenty-two new regular service vehicles for the “Southern Eifel” line bundle were delivered in Irrel. The new SETRA LE buses (S415 & S418) are part of a fleet of 42 vehicles in total that Tempus will operate in the “Südeifel” route bundle from 16 December 2019. For this purpose, a depot has been rented in the “Zweikreuz” industrial estate in Irrel and 60 drivers have been deployed.
Line 401 becomes line 410!
The current line 401, Bitburg-Luxemburg-Bitburg, will also fall into the line bundle “Südeifel” from 16 December 2019 and will then bear the line number 410!
